1. About Product

I. Application and Function:

The XGW is a SF6 ring main unit for 12/24 kV secondary distribution network. It is a compact unit combining all MV functional units to enable connection, supply and protection of one or two transformers on an open ring or radial network. With XGW switchgear as switching point, the effect of a fault on the network has been limited.

II. Structure

All MV function units, such as Switch-disconnector, Circuit-breaker, Fuse-switch combination, Bus Sectionalize, Cable connection and MV Metering module, can be integrated flexibly as customer request. XGW switchgear comprises 1 to 6 integrated functional units within the same metal enclosure.
