INTRODUCTION

FR series Hot Box Resin appears as a dark brown transparent liquid with the following characteristics:

1 Fast Cure Improved productivity, efficiency, and energy savings

2. High strength Reduced resin consumption = reduced operational costs

3. Low viscosity Improves mixing efficiency.

SPECIFICATION 

USING GUIDE

1. Mixing Proportion

Sand                              100

Resin                             1.5 - 2.5% of sand weight

Catalyst                           20% - 30% of resin weight

Mixing Process

Mix sand with catalyst for one minute using intermittent sand mixer, then add resin and mix for one to two minutes.

2. Selection of Curing Temperature and Time:

Normal temperature is 200-250 and curing time is between 60-120 seconds depending on the size of the core.

CAUTIONS  

1. A slight irritation may be caused if this product comes in contact with skin. Operator should wear protective clothing.

2. Resin should be kept in cool and dry place out of direct sunlight. Handle with care.
