The effect of conductor fixed by Vilun distribution tie line is better than the top clip type insulator or tie line by hand.

Characteristics

1) The conductor fixed by distribution tie line is better than tie line by hand. It allows the un-breaking conductor produces certain control movement in the design of distribution tie line. It can make the conductor recover to the original position under a certain situation. The yield and restoring ability of tie line under different loading is called rebound elasticity and each one has this kind of characteristics;

2) Material strength: the tie line is made of Aluminum clad steel or Aluminum alloy, the material strength is higher than soft Aluminum tie line by hand.

3) The distribution tie line is matched insulator tightly and can anti upward loading and prevent the conductor jumping from insulator;

4) For the impulsive load: the elastic tie line just like impulsive load’s absorber, it can reduce load and catch up the conductor security. The tie line cant become flexible and lead the abrading of conductor under different situation, such as low frequency shimmy, high frequency wind vibration and shimmy.

5) Fine consistency: with precise design, it is easy to install tie line rightly, and under the performing in factory, the tie line mating conductor and insulator tightly and has fine consistency.

6)  Radio interference: PLP distribution tie line has the characteristics of radio interference voltage (RIV) and same to the RIV of corresponding manual tied line.  In use process, the helical tie line always matched fine and its RIV is better than the loose tie line’ s RIV.

7) Double support: On double cross arm structure, when the conductor cross the highways, railways or on the turning , the PLP double support can fixed the conductor on the top of insulator security;

8)Line angle:

a) General guiding principle: On the vertical installed insulator, PLP distribution tie line allows under 10 degree angles. When the insulator is installed on the bevel with a certain angle to vertical direction, it allows larger angle, and it depends the actual bevel of insulator. To use PLP side tie line and PLP distribution tie line on the same structure, can influence the allowed line angle;

b)In an ordinary way, the conductor should in the groove of insulator; the tie line allowed maximum actual angle is influenced by many limiting factors, such as conductor dimension, tension, spacing, droop angle, insulator type and direction and so on.
