Project introduction, a rotational mould with mirror polished cavity,
The actual mirror finish, on that rotomould's cavity, looks more outstanding comparing what you see from the picture.
Mirror finish is good for a product, used for presentation/displaying purpose, or its surface needs to be cleaned regularly, or the rotomolded product has special cosmetic request, for example looking shining and extremely smooth.
That finish requires bit more attention, at the beginning when to make pattern for casting, ( hence related with rotomold design as well ), because the pattern's structure will influence the flow of melt aluminum, and its heat exhaust, and casting density and etc, which will finally influence if porosity or other defects will appear or not.

Apart from mirror finish, we have regular polish, machined polish, shot peen, bead blast and chemical etching as well.
