Toxicity:

Lowly toxicity. Actute oral LD₅₀ of technical for female and males rats: more than 4640mg/kg b.w.. Actute dermal LD₅₀ for female and males rats: more than 2150mglkg b.w.. Not irritant to skin and eyes of rabbits. Not teratogenic, carcinogenic and mutagenic to animals at test dosage.

Appearance: white solid, M.P.: 127~148, V.P.: 24nPa(20), Solubility: in water<0.05mg/L(25); acetone 15 g(Z)/L, 88 g(E)/L; cyclohexanone 27 g(Z)/L; DMF40 g(Z)/L, 272 g(E)/L; hexane 0.4 g(E)/L; methanol, toluene 7 g(Z)/L. Stability: stable for at least 5 days in dark; (E)-isomer and (Z)-isomer interconverted in sunshine; hyrolysed very slowly.

Application:

Systemic fungicide, control of Peronospora and Phytophthora,  the Oomycetes on potato and tomato,  and especially the late blight on potato. Used  in combination with protectant fungicide (such as dithianon, mancozole and copper compound).
