Fast build-up in thickening ability, fast paste formation, high colour paste stability.

Dymathik DM-5241 is a pigment printing thickener composed of a kind of polyacrylic acid ester, with very good self thickening ability, suited for the pigment printing of cellulosic fibre and its blends.

PROPERTIES AND ADVANTAGES

1. Fast build-up in thickening ability, fast paste formation, high colour paste stability.

2. High strength, small dosage, negligible influence to handle.

3. Sharp definition, dark colour yield, good brilliancy.

4. No influence to shade in pigment printing, good colour stability.

5. Formaldehyde free.

BASIC CHARACTERISTIC

Appearance       : Milky white viscous liquid

Ionicity              : Anionic

pH value            : 5.5 ~ 6.5 (original liquid)

Dispersability     : Easily dispersable in water

Emulsifiability     : Very good self emulsifying property, paste formed is with high                                               stability.

Emulified paste stability:

Water: Good stability to water hardness 100ppm or below, dosage can be reduced.

Electrolyte: the higher the electrolyte content, the higher is the dosage.

Acid and Alkali: With certain stability to acid

RECIPE FOR REFERENCE

Pigment printing:

Pigment                                   X %

Dymathik DM-5241               1.5 ~ 2.0%

Dymabin DM-5125                 5 ~ 25 %

Water                                       Y %

Total                                        100 %

Process:

Colour paste preparation  →  Print  →  Dry(100oC)  →  Bake(150oC x 2 ~ 3min)  →  Heat-set with tentering

One year

Store in cool and ventilated place.
