Through a forced steam-drying process performed in drying kilns and applied preservative treatment, the water ratio of these timbers is belong to 8%-- 12%; so, they aren’t prone to shrinking in dry climates nor swelling in wet conditions. The excellent strength and stability of our wood materials helps to prevent against deformities and cracks. “Kangfude”’s integrated materials are superior to ordinary solid wood because each piece wood is selected from the best quality; discard the wood with defects, then use finger joint technology to connect the small pieces to a certain length. Through this process, a stable mechanical performance and a more elegant surface are obtained.
