Glueless lace wigs are manufactured with a cap, and a thin lace sewn on top of the cap. Individual hairs are then sewn into the thin lace. Glueless lace wigs will have lace all around the unit, and require the lace to be cut all around the unit. You will be cutting a hairline around your entire head. By doing so, once done you can wear your hair anyway you like, ponytails, up-dos etc. Think about it. With the wig, you have just cut yourself a new hairline around your entire head. Once the unit is applied, you will have on a full hair wig - but the front, back, and sides of the hair wig will not be like a regular wig. The wig will appear that all of the hair is growing directly from your head.Here is the method about how to measure your wig size. Please have a look carefully if you need custom lace wigs some day. If you feel it is a bit hard to give the exact sizes, we can just do a standard medium size with stetch lace from ear to ear. 1. The Circumference of your Head: Measure all around the head. Position tape measure so its edge follows the hair line around the head and nape of the neck. (Average measurement is 22 inches). 2. From Forehead to Nape of Neck: Measure from hairline at center of forehead straight back over crown to center of hairline at nape of neck. Note: Place the tape measure about 1/2 inch in front of your hairline in the front of forehead while taking the measure to the back of your Nape (neck) about 1/2 inch below your hairline in the back. Keeping in mind that your cap is glued to the outside perimeter of your natural hairline on your skin. (Average measurement is 14.5 inches) 3. Ear to Ear Across Forehead: At front of ear, measure from hairline at base of sideburn, up across the hair line along forehead to same point in front of other ear. (Average measurement is 12 inches) 4. From Ear to Ear Over Top of Head: Measure from hairline directly above the ear across top of head to the hairline directly above the other ear. (Average measurement is 13 inches) 5. From temple to temple across the back of head:From temple to temple across the back of head. (Average measurement is 14.5 inches). Note: Place the tape measure about 1/2 inch in front of your hairline at the temple to temple point on each side of your head. Keeping in mind that your cap is glued to the outside perimeter of your natural hairline in this area as well. 6. Nape of Neck: Measure the width of hairline across the nape of the neck. (Average measurement is 5 inches).
