Silver/copper/aluminium brazing welding flux paste and powder
Silver/copper/aluminium brazing welding flux paste and powder

1.good fluidity and permeability 2.Wide application

Huazhong Welding Material Manufacturing Co.,Ltd is a leading supplier of superior quality of Brazing Flux. Brazing Flux is a substance, which cleans the metals when they are joining while soldering, brazing, and welding. In high-temperature metal joining processes, the primary purpose of flux is to prevent oxidation of the base and filler materials. Secondarily, Silver Brazing Flux acts as a wetting agent in the soldering process, reducing the surface tension of the molten solder and causing it to better wet out the parts to be joined. Additionally, flux allows solder to flow easily on the work piece.

Steel and stainless steel, hard metal etc.

As a common copper-based brazing flux, featuring less smoke, good fluidity, and even tiny granule, QJ 301 flux could be used for brazing copper and copper alloy, steel and stainless steel, and hard metal within 850°C to 1150 °C. Preparation: The surface of the work pieces should be cleansed carefully before brazing. The performance of the flux can be optimized on a surface without oil and oxide. In flame brazing, neutral flame is usually required.

Post treatment: the residue is glassy solid attached on the work pieces. Usually it can be sanded off. The more convenient method is to merge the hot work pieces into cold water after the solidification of the filler metal. The residue can fall off the surfaces because of the sudden boiling of water. Partial component in the residue can be dissolved into the water. In this method, the temperature difference between the cold water and the work pieces should be cautiously controlled to prevent the shaping and cracking of the work piece.

Physical descriptions: white powder, granularity:≤150μm   Density:1.2-1.3g/cm3

Transportation and storage: Kept in shaded and dry environment.

QJ302 is a our new developed type of solder paste gathered from all the advantages of the domestic and foreign. QJ302 is better than other brazing flux in fluidity, and permeability, and avoids the problem of fluidity and moisture-absorption. QJ302 paste is used for brazing of copper and copper alloys, stainless steel, carbon steel, hard metal within 850°C to 1150 °C. It can meet the requirement of high process and automation.

  --------Aluminium Brazing Flux Series

---------HZ-QJ201 aluminium brazing powder

QJ201 is a new kind of aluminium brazing flux matching aluminium base filler metal. It is widely used in brazing aluminium and aluminium alloy at the temperature of 450 to 620°C in the method of flame brazing, and furnace brazing.

It can remove aluminium oxide effectively, and promote filler metal flowing and spreading in aluminium alloy. QJ201 is a common aluminium flux.

Physical Status: Granularity:≤150μm   Density: 1.3-1.4   Standard: JB/T6045-92

Main Compositions: Alkali metal, alkaline-earth metal chlorides, fluoride, and active agent.

Operation: In advance, properly place the brazing filler metal on the brazing joint which will be heated together with the workpieces. In the process of manual torch brazing, firstly, the brazing wire need to be tipped with the flux. Then, after the work pieces are heated to the brazing temperature, the brazing wire is manually handled to keep close to the brazing joint. The wires are evenly heated by the outer flame from the Multiples-holes brazing torch. To protect the metallic materials, the flame should be placed at the proper distance away from the wires to avoid the oxidation the work pieces, and producing high-quality brazing seams.

Post treatment: The residue of the QJ201 aluminium brazing flux attached on the work pieces is corrosive which should be cleaned timely.

  ---------HZ-QJ202 non-corrosive aluminium brazing flux

We researched and developed independently HZ-QJ202 non-corrosive aluminium brazing flux, which is better than other brand of aluminium brazing flux. QJ202 is aviable for gas shielded furnace and low-temperature flame with Al-Si eutectic brazing material. HZ-QJ202 is an ideal flux for furnace brazing refrigerator, aluminium condenser and aluminium radiator.

Physical description: white powder and paste. Density(20°C):2.8g/cm3

Components: Cesium Salt, fluoride compound salt, active agent.

Advantage and usage:

1. For pure aluminium, and Al-Mn alloys.

2. Smooth brazing surface, no blackening, and forming even membrane.

3. Non-corrosion and anti-oxidation.

4. No poisonous and no smelling

5. Environment-friendly.

6. No absorption and no aggregation for long time preservation.

Operation: Non-corrosive aluminium brazing flux can be applied in torch brazing, furnace brazing, and high frequency brazing. The filler materials that work together with this flux can be powder, wires, rings or aluminium brazing sheet. Paste phase of this flux is more convenient for utility. Firstly, coat the paste flux onto the welding joint. In the flame brazing operation, quickly heat the flux to the temperature close to its melting point before adding the filler materials which will be heated to liquid phase and full fill the joint. After being so lidified, high strength welding joint can be formed. In furnace brazing, and high frequently brazing, the increasing rate of temperature and brazing temperature should be controlled carefully.
