Jorsun's range of packaged dissolved air flotation units are ideal for the removal of solids, fats, oils and greases from industrial waste water and hydrocarbons on environmental remediation projects.
Using established solids/liquid separation technology, the units generate “whitewater” by dissolving air under pressure and then releasing the pressure to form micro air bubbles.
Main advantages
1. Extremely compact and efficient clarifier - with hydraulic loading upto 30 m/h.
2. Lower capital cost versus traditional rectangular units for equal flows.
3. Highly energy efficient - very high level of clarification with significantly lower pressurisation rate compared to traditional DAF clarifiers.
4. Minimises polymer consumption by optimising flocculation with extended mixing time in presence of air bubbles and polymer.
