1. Introduction:

Groundwater removal iron and manganese filter is a highly efficient energy-saving water treatment equipment, which jointly developed by our company and the University of Austrian environmental technology.

 

2.Purposes and principles:

Groundwater removal iron and manganese filter is mainly applied to remove iron and manganese in groundwater of high iron and high manganese areas, industrial water softening, pretreatment of desalted water.

The device uses the principle to eliminate the iron and the manganese of aeration oxide, manganese sand catalysis, adsorption, filtration. Make the air, Fe2+ and Mn2+ in water Oxidation to Fe3 + and MnO, which are insoluble in water, and then combined with catalyst, adsorption and filtration of natural manganese sand to remove iron and manganese ions in water. Manganese oxidation reaction is as follows:

Iron oxide: Air: 4Fe2++3O2+6H2O=4Fe(OH)3↓

Manganese sand MnO·Mn2O7+Fe2++2O2+6H2O=3MnO2+4Fe(OH)3↓;

Manganese oxide: Mn2++O2=MnO2↓

Manganese sand  Mn2++MnO2·H2O=MnO2·MnOH2O+2H+

 

3. Technical performance:

Gas-water mixing time:  3-5min

Filter filtration rate: 10-14m/h

Backwashing strength : 16-18L / m2.s

Filter thickness : 1.0-1 .2 m

Inlet pressure ≥ 0.06Mpa

Equipment pressure : 0.06-0 .3 Mpa , 0.3-0 .6 Mpa , 0.6-1 .0 Mpa.

Scope: inflow   Fe2+≤20mg/L, Mn2+≤10mg/L

Effluent   Fe2+≤0.3mg/L, Mn2+≤0.1mg/L

 

 

4. Features:

 

1. Aeration part: You just need to fill a small amount of air, not to dosage pharmaceutical and catalyst in aeration tank and aeration tower, which can reduce operating costs.

 

2. The main body of equipment combined with strong oxidation, separation desander, group-type suspension filtration and other processes into one device. The structure is unique.

 

3. Filter section: You don’t need to provide backwash pumps and backwash pool because it has its own backwash unit within the filter. The equipment can reduce the project area and engineering investment.

 

4. The backwashing intensity of pressure filter tank is high, which will cause the filter layer flushing evenly and thoroughly, won’t form the dead angle. Backwash time is short, filter cycles is long and filter life will be extended.

 

5. The device can pipe water directly to users, you can not need to equip with clean water tank and secondary pump station, to reduce equipment investment, and avoid secondary pollution
