These ions continuously regenerate the ion exchange resin so that it will continue to remove impurities from the feed water. At the same time, re-displaced cation and anion from the feed water will permeate into concentrate chamber by some times , redisplayed cation and anion from the feed water will permeate into concentrate chamber by some times reverse osmosis. As result, a portion of stream is drained continuously back to keep the conductivity, while the other portion of concentrated produce continuously into the sewer tunnel.
