The role of mechanical filterWhen raw water go through mechanical filter, due to action of contact flocculation, adsorption and storage by filter medium (such as quartz sand or active carbon etc), makes the redidual impurity been adsorbed and storaged. The mechanical filter can reduce the turbidity and residual chlorine of raw water. Mechanical filter classificationThe diameter of mechanical filter is from 300mm to 3000mm, according to diameter, it is divided into two type, big filters and small filters. The diameter is less than 1000mm is small filter, diameter is over 1000mm is big filter. The output of this kind of filter is 0.5-80t/h.
