Appearance:

-  Yellowish or tan powder.

-  Soluble in water, insoluble in methanol, chloroform, acetic ether and other solvents. Its water-soluble antibiotic activity is stable.

Pharmacology:    

It can interfere the bacteria with composing protein. The drug can interfere prokaryotes with composing ribosomal proteins and restrain the harmful bacteria in the animal body, treating the disease caused by Escherichia coli, Salmonella. It will improve the intestinal mucosal structure, promote the synergy effect which relate to the endocrine activity of growth and enhance the feed conversion rate by restraining the reproduction of Escherichia coli.

Indications:

-   It has stronger antibacterial activity to gram-negative bacteria and most of gram-positive bacteria which is easy to infect poultry. Especially, it has very strong antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus which has drug resistance to other antibiotics.

-   What’s more, it is not easy to generate drug resistance, and it has not cross resistance with other aminocyclitols antibiotic.

-    It can prevent and treat dysentery and dysplasia, which are caused by Escherichia coli for pigs, chickens and cows. As feed additive, it can enhance the weight growth and feed conversion rate of livestock and poultry.

Usage&Dosage:

-  Poultry: Take this drug to prepare liquid which contain Apramycin 250 mg/L. Continuous drinking for 3 days is a course for prevent, and continous drinking for 5 days is a course for treatment.

-  Pigs: Per kilogram of body weight add 12.5 mg, continous drinking for 7 days.

-  Chicken: Add 5 g active ingredient per 1000 kg of feed.

Precautions:

-  It will occur synergistic reaction when it is used together with Penicillin and Cephems.

-  It is inadvisable to use this drug together with aminoglycosides.

Withdrawal Period: For pig: 21 days; for chicken: 7 days.

Package: 25kg/drum.

Storage: Kept in a dry and dark place.

Expiry: Two years.
