Kill manifold is a necessary device to control the well bottom pressure on oil/gas well for prevent well kick.

Application
When the well head pressure rising, with the kill manifold, we can pump heavy drilling fluid into the well to balance well bottom pressure so that well kick and blowout can be prevented from. Also we can connect the BOP with this manifold and relief directly, so that we can release the pressure of the well bottom; and we can inject the cement, to firm the well, or we can inject the water and extinguishing agent with the kill manifold.
To archive kill the fluid or the job on other purpose, the check valves of the kill manifold allow injection of kill fluid or other fluids into the well bore only, and not allow any fluid flow back. 2. ConfigurationThe kill manifold consists of check valves, gate vales, pressure gauges and line pipes. The one end of the kill manifold is connected to the drilling spool and the other end is connected to the pump. The kill manifold and choke manifold are both designed to API 16C and can be used together. The kill manifold is available in pressure ratings of 14MPa, 21MPa, 35MPa and 70MPa.3. Operating Instructions(1) The working pressure of all line pipes, gate valves and check valves shall be match with that of the BOP group used.(2) The kill manifold is not intended to be used as common lines for injecting drilling fluid.
