UL 924 Exit Sign Specifications:

This exit sign must be charged for a minimum of 60 minutes to become fully operational. External illumination source must be reliable and supplied by a circuit that is not controlled by an automatic timer or sensor.  The external illumination controlls should only be accessible to authorized personnel. External illumination source is to be energized at all times during building occupancy. lighting levels on the sign face(s) should be confirmed after any change in external lighting It is recommended that periodic inspections be performed in accordance with applicable codes. Install this sign indoors only, where not exposed to direct sunlight, moisture or temperatures outside the range of +10 degree to 40 degree C.

Activation - A minimum of 5 foot-candles (54LUX) of external unfiltered fluorescent illumination must be present on sign face at all times during occupancy.

Installation - Four (4) mounting holes provided.  Mark the mounting screw locations on the wall.  Drill anchor holes, insert anchors then install the exit sign using screws through the mounting holes.

Cleaning - Cleaning of the exit sign should be done with a non-abrasive cloth dampened with water.  Do not use chemical solvents.
