Y2 series motors (IP54) are defined as totally enclosed, fan cooled, squirrel cage type of three phase asynchronism motor, which is the new basic series of china. It developed base on upgrading Y series products in the 90s. It has the advantages of high efficiency, save energy, good performance, low noisy, slight vibration, reliable, convenience to use and maintain. The power and package size measure up the IEC standards.

Y2 series motors apply to the place without combustible, explosive and corrodible gas and the machineries without special requests, such as metal cutting machine, pump, finner, transport machinery, agitator, agricultural implement & machinery, food machinery, etc.. Because of its good startup performance, it is also apply to some machineries with higher request of startup torque, such as compressor.
