 EUT-108w 8-channel digital ultrasonic inspection detector

EUT-108w is a kind of high-performance 8-channel digital ultrasonic flaw detector. It uses the most advanced astronautics electronic technology and the multi-CPU system design concept to ensure the consistency, stability, reliability and the anti-interference ability of the equipment. It is developed with high sensitivity, high resolution and high fidelity of echo transmission. This equipment can work continuously for 24 hours.

EUT-108w is consist of 8-channel ultrasonic transmitting and receiving units, digital motherboard and power supply. The setting, operation and display of the equipment are all controlled by computer. It can be used conveniently for single-channel and multi-channel on-site ultrasonic inspection.

 The high speed CPU used for EUT-108w has the advantages of high precision, high speed and complete functions. The software is independently developed by our company. It is easy to operate and can be updated freely according to the customers' requirements.

Technical Parameters

1. Transmitted pulse: sharp pulse amplitude ≥500V, rise time of front edge tr≤15ns

2. Frequency range: 0.5 ~ 15MHz, adjustable between narrowband and broadband of hardware or according to customers’ requirements. There’re two special hardware/software narrowband filters in 2 ~ 4MHz / 4 ~ 6MHz designed for application on site.

3. Pulse repetition frequency (PRF): 25Hz~10KHz, adjustable among 25/50/100/200/500/1K/2K/5K/10KHz. The maximum PRF of each channel is 10KHz  when each four channels work circularly.

4. Detection range: continuously tunable from 0 ~ 5000mm (longitudinal wave in steel), the minimum display range is 5mm

5. D-Delay (Pulse shift): -10 ~ 1000mm (longitudinal wave in steel)

6. P-Delay (Probe delay): 0 ~ 200 us

7. Material velocity: 1000 ~ 15000 m/s

8. Gain: 0 ~ 110 dB with step of 0.5/2/6dB

9. Fine tuning of gain: -2 ~ +6dB with step of 0.1dB

Application

EUT-108w can be extended to other multi-channel equipment whose channel number is a multiple of 4, such as 8/12/16/24/32 etc., so it’s appropriate for automatic or semi-automatic ultrasonic inspection on steel tubes, rods and ingots, especially for steel tube whose thickness is more than 100mm. By adjusting the frequency range, this equipment can be used for high-speed automatic inspection for small-bore thin wall tubes.
