• It mainly bears joint radial and axial load where the axial load is the major part. Axial loading capacity depends on the angle of outer ring's raceway. Greater angle renders greater loading capacity. Such bearing belongs to release bearing and could be classified to single-row, double-row and four-row taper roller bearing in accordance with arrangement of the rolling elements.
• Taper roller bearings are generally used to support combined load mainly consisting of radial load. Their cups are separable for easy assembling. During mounting and using, radial clearance and axial clearance can be adjusted and preloaded mounting can be made.
