Introduction of Product :
High frequency electrodeless discharge lamp,HFED for short,is of high luminous efficacy,high colour rendering property and long serive life,destined to become the most promising energy-saving and environ mental-protection light source in the 21st century.
Material and feature:
Both the lamp body and lid are made of aluminum alloy die casting,the surface are treated by plastic spraying or baking finish for corrosion resistance,and the surface is smooth.The reflex housing is made of high purity aluminum,After the electrochemical polishing,its reflectivity is high and the optical property is stable.The light fixture is enquipped with a spring closing device,convenient for turning on.
How it works
The high frequency electrodeless discharge lamp uses the principle of electromagntism and is made up of 3 parts:1.the globe,2.the coupler,3.the high frequency power supply generator.The HF power suooly generator creates a 2.65MHz high frequency positive power whichi is produced to the globe vie the coupler.Plasma forms within the globe and radiates at a wavelength of 254nm,simultaneously emission of UV light excites the phosphors within the globe causing almost instantaneous light.
Super long service life
No filament and electrode in the bulb,service life of the bulb depends on natural attenuation of phosphor powder.Tt has the longest service life among all light sources.Designed service life≥60 thousand hours.
High efficiency and energy saving
The optical efficiency≥65lm/w,which is 5 times that of ordinary incandescent lamp.HFED save energy more than 80% of the energy compare to the energy consuming of the ordinary incandescent lamp.
Environmental protection
It contains only 3mg of mercury(safely isolated in a capsule) while most other lamps contain aroud 14mg or more.If the bulb is accidentally broken the mercury is retained witnin the capsule and readily recyclable and thus creates no pollution.Effecitively the complete lamp is 99.6% recyclable.
No flickering,low glare
Being highly effcient it is very stable and w/out flicker or harsh glare.
Momene start,no warm up require
The function of start and restart is instant and repeated strikes will not cause light degradation.
High colour rendering index
Colour rendering index is≥80,various colours can be chosen from 2700K-6500K.
