Construction
The "torsion free body" consists of a special auxiliary frame on which a longitudinal, 2 x 3 – point borne central tube forms the substructure for the body. The system has clearly defined technical connecting points between the truck chassis and auxiliary frame, substructure and body. Special material of profiles and castings are connected to each other allowing the highest rate of functional efficiency and durability. Furthermore the design ensures minimal maintenance and a long life time.
Functional characteristics
The vehicle chassis has a free articulation independent of the body/superstructure when driving cross-country. Therefore all the wheels maintain contact with the ground; thus assuring the highest grade of cross-country performance, even for commercially designed vehicles. This excellent driving performance protects the body and its load by absorbing torsion forces, and avoids breakage or parts wear.
