Charge regulator:
Turn on the charge regulator:
The charge regulator provides following protections for the whole system.
Over-discharge protection: When the electricity level of the battery goes too low ( below 11V),the charge regulator will automatically shut off power output to prevent damage to the battery. In this case, please stop using any application, and charge the battery until the “voltage” higher than 13V.
Over-charge protection: When the electricity level of the battery goes too high( above 14.5V), the charge regulator will automatically shut off power input to prevent damage to the battery
Over-load protection: When output current goes too big (over 4A), the fuse in the charge regulator will be melted to prevent damage to the controller itself. Fuse has to be replaced in order to bring the controller back to working condition in this case.
The charge regulator has to be turned on all the time in order to activate all its protecting functions.
