Operating principle
The cups, cones, squeeze-up tubes or bulk containers are dispensed one by one through a magazine in which the packaging is stacked. It is then dispensed and placed into the pockets/Lamillas as per the product design. Centering/Calibration of the packaging is done so that the package is inline and well placed in the pocket for perfect filling.
Filling of ice cream, sorbet or water ice takes place by means of volumetric filler.
The lidding function can be chosen from a number of available techniques, depending on the design of the product.
After lidding the products are lifted up from the lamellas and transferred to a transfer conveyor belt.
Main drive
A PLC controlled pneumatic cylinder drive the main cam. A frequency controlled gear motor drives the main cam activating the cup or container dispenser and ejector. The linear movements of the lamella conveyors are mechanically synchronized from the main drive by means of an indexing mechanism.
An encoder provides a signal to the Siemens PLC for accurate control of the movement activated by air. Power 3 phase 380 volts, 50Hz
