1.open water grinder cover.
2.pour clean water into the grinder.To ensure the ceramic trough issoaked with water.
3.Hold the handle of the frinder firmly by one hand.The grinder must be steadywhen frinding the knife.
4.Use another hand to hoid the knife fimly.Press your forefinger on the back of the blade.
5.Insert the blade vertically into the white(1st)coarsewheel trough and
6.move the blade forward and backward slightty for 7 to 8 times .Then put the blade into the pick(2nd) finer whee trough and the blue (3nd) finest wheel trough.Repeat the steps for grinding .
