KA-DP03A microwave sensor is the third generation microwave sensor which is designed by our company specially for electronic dimmable ballasts. It uses the technology of MCU automatic control and sets automation, convinence, energy-saving and practicality in one. It is an ideal microwave sensor for office, meeting room, hall, corridor, supermarket, department store, dining room, museum and washroom etc.

1) The brightness is adjustable, it is energy saving and can extend the lifetime of the light tubes. Themicrowave sensor is using together with dimmable electronic ballasts, it will automatically turn down thebrightness of the light tubes when nobody there at a short time (The users can set up the brightness bythemselves according to the actual usage), and the light will quickly start to enter in a full-brightness statuswhen somebody there. It can avoid the lifetime reduction of the light tube caused by the frequent start andthe flicker phenomenon caused by the start at the full voltage.

2) Lower high-frequency transmitting power. The high-frequency transmitting power of conventional microwavesensor is around 10mW (EMI limiting value≤25mW). The high-frequency transmitting power of this product isless than 0.2mW, it is a quarter of conventional microwave sensor in high-frequency transmitting power and1/500 of cell phones and micro-wave oven in high-frequency transmitting power (EMI limiting value≤1000).

3) Higher detection sensitivity. The detection range of microwave sensor is finite because of the limit of thetransmitting power, most of the detection range is not more than 8 meters. If we want to achieve a fartherdetection range, the conventional method is to increase high frequency transmitting power. But It will lead tothe superscale of the limiting value of the high-frequency power. This products introduce double-layer specialdesigni, it can greatly increase the resolving power of the detection ability, but we don’t need to increase(evenmore reduce)the high frequency transmitting power, the detection range can be 20 meters or father.
