CDMP300 Substation Protection
General
The CDMP300 is a Switchbay Protection and Control Unit . it features the following functions: Protection,Measurement,Contro ,Communication.
The CDMP300 well suited for primary protection or back-up protection for equipments and distribution lines of ungrounded system with rated voltage not higher than 66 kilo voltages. Usually, all secondary protection and automation requirements of substation can be fulfilled by using CDMP300 independently, which is furthersome for reducing devices’s types and spare parts for projects.

Features
- Specially designed for switchbay, a single unit can accomplish all necessary task for automation system. This “All-in-One” design can simplify the interior design & construction of switchbays by replacing conventional relays and measuring instruments and reduce space and wiring complexity greatly.
- Providing easy opportunity for field operators to update and handle protection and control program of this unit online by LAD as defined in IEC1131-3, which they are familiar with. Thus, according to practical requirements, customers can deploy corresponding protections from embedded protection library to reduce spare parts.
- Based on a microprocessor system of 32 bits Digital Signal Processor (DSP), The CDMP300 features advanced core construction, high-speed operation & real-time signal processing capability, overcoming the bottleneck of protection arithmetic for conventional Central Processing Unit (CPU) easily.
- Supported to trigger alarm or trip by Binary Inputs directly, applying for gas and temperature protection or interlocking trip.
- Applying settable “Time-Frame” technology, the CDMP300 can eliminate accidental signals input and EMC disturbance, ensuring 100% accuracy of binary signals.
- User-friendly Human Machine Interface with back-illuminated graphic LCD (320x240 pixels). The intensity and duration of the illumination can be set as required by customers. The LCD display is for plain text and tables, such as measurement values, menus descriptions, protection signals, event recording, Binary Inputs & Outputs (BIO) status, real-time wave, LAD program, rated values, Single Line Diagram, system parameters, etc.
- The last 100 pieces of recorded events, with precise time stamp of 1 mil-second, can be shown on the LCD display of HMI. These events are reserved locally in the unit and mostly related to protection activities, like event name, additional information about the event, time, date and the RMS value of the current, etc, which are primarily necessary for fault analysis and equipment diagnostic.
- The CDMP300 also consists of a fault recorder module, which can record and encode analog and binary data pre- & post fault time, up to 100 cycles with 24 sample points per cycle. All recorded data is reserved in the unit locally and permanently.
