SSV series two-way bi-flow solenoid valves are mainly used for the defrosting of wind cooling heat pump refrigeration unit and the defrosting of supermarket refrigerators as well.
The adoption of SSV series can reduce the amount of check valves and solenoid valves in the refrigeration system, which makes system pipeline designs more reasonable.

Operating principle

While energized in coil, the electromagnetic power opens the small orifice. Then the pressure in upside of valve reduced, so the pressure difference between both side of diaphragm happen and lead to diaphragm lift to open the main orifice, the valve flows bi-directionally. While de-energized in the coil, plug stem will drop and close the small orifice because of spring force and its weight. When inlet pressure is higher than outlet pressure across valve, the valve closed. When outlet pressure is higher than inlet pressure across valve, a few medium can flow across the valve in opposite direction.
