Light weight insulating castables(InCast0.4-1.5) with different densities prepared using porous clinker, ceramisite, floating particle, vermiculite or perlite as main starting materials, are featured with high strength, good insulating property and good thermal shock resistance. Castables with different thermal conductivities can be provided as required.
InCastA1.7 castables prepared with fused bubble alumina as main starting material, pure calcium aluminate and various micropowders as bonding system, are called "bubble alumina castables". they are featured with gith strength, good abrasion resistance, easy construction, high purity and high refractoriness, which are suitable for the insulating area of kilns requiring high temperature.
