The Thermal Converter reactor system thermally depolymerizes waste tires in an oxygen-free, externally heated reaction vessel in a temperature controlled environment.
Oxidation or “burning” does not occur because the process maintains an oxygen-free environment.
The pyro-char will be removed from the reactor automatically through a vacuum suction system.
Condensers used in the oil recovery system are water-jacketed tanks, and bare tube heat exchangers supplied by water from a cooling tower.
