WN(D) series dredging pumps are new slurry pumps designed with advanced computer software and aimed at the current condition that it is becoming extremely urgent for the rivers and lakes in our country to get repaired, dredged and hydraulic filled.
This series slurry pumps are featured by good structure, fine dredging function, long lifetime, high efficiency, reliable shaft seal and notable benefit. They can meet all the requirements from the dredges and each set of them has passed the certification by the China Classification Society.
These dredging pumps have succeeded in being equipped with dredges – cutter suction dredges of 80m3/h,100 m3/h,120 m3/h,200 m3/h, bucket-wheel and cutter suction dredges of 350 m3/h, cutter suction dredges of 500 m3/h. They have made great contributions to the cleaning and hydraulic reclaimation of Yangtze River basin, the Yellow River basin, the Pearl River Delta, the Huaihe River Basin and other rivers, lakes as well as wharves. In 2006, another success was harvested for the largest dredging pump 1000WN to be involved in a trailing suction hopper dredger of 13500 m3/h for Shanghai Navigation Bureau.

Performance and Design Features of Dredging Pumps WN(Q)
1,Fine over-all structure for dredges and reliable and simple operation
Dredging pumps 200WN – 500WN are single casing, single suction, cantilever and horizontal layout. By the drive type, they have two typical structures: frames type and gear-box type. Frame type can be lubricated with grease or light oil.
600WN – 1000WN are double casing, single suction, cantilever and horizontal. Frame type is by forced oil lubrication. The reliable design for their double casing enable the volute liner to last till it is nearly worn through. And furthermore, even the volute liner breaks, no water leakage will occur.
WNQ sump pump is single casing, single suction and cantilever. Fir its frame type, it is oil or water lubricated.
2,Easy for disassembly and maintenance
WN(Q) dredging pumps is disassembled in its front for easy maintenance. For every small parts, special tool are supplied.
Connection of impeller and shaft is effected by 4-end ACME thread which can deliver strong torque and make disassembly more easier also. Meantime, an impeller release collar is used at the sleeve and facilitate the removal of the impeller.
3.Good dredging and erosional performance
WN(Q) has good dredging and erosional performance to give a strong pumping. Meantime a better dredging depth and suction concentration can be acquired.
4,Strong flow ability and wide application
WN(Q) has a wide channel to give a good flow rate which keeps the pump in a good application scope. The gravels and clay can be delivered continuously with any blocking.
5,Performance Curves ACTS drop
WN(Q) gives ACTS drop for its performance curve of flow quantity and head, to apply better to the changes of exlusion.
6,Good anti-abrasion and long life-time of wet ends
The head can be changed by changing the speed and diameter of WN(Q) pumps’ impeller.
For the wet end parts, the impeller, volute liner, throatbush and back liner are cast of hi-chrome alloy with a hardness of above 58HRC, which is very resistant to impact and abrasion. Our company has recently developed a new material with a hardness of up to 70HRC.
All spares’ duration are fully considered in the design to match each other with a approximately identical replacement period, resulting in a low cost for maintenance.
7,Low water consumption, High efficiency and low power consuption
The pumps is very efficient with advanced hydraulic model, about 2 – 3 percentage higher than the imported pumps. For the same production, the power consumption is lower.
8,Reliable shaft seal, no leakage
200WN-500WN are equipped with mechanical seal, gland seal or their blends.
600WN-1000WN are equipped with rubber seal unit of L type thread sleeve, made up of 3 L seal rings and a sleeve with special thread.
