The rotary film deaerator is a new kind of thermodynamic deaerating equipment, the heat exchange method of which is different from old jet type and spraying type deaerators, the heat-transfer and mass-transfer of the old types is carried out between steam and beaded water. However the heat-transfer and mass-transfer of rotary film deaerator is carried out between steam and high speed rotating water film, and two stages deaeration is applied to it. The first stage deaeration is carried out by film former, 90% of solved oxygen will be separated in this stage; the secondary stage is deep deaeration, the remains of solved oxygen will be separated again. The total deaeration efficiency of 98% is available to the deaerators.
The advantages of rotary film deaerator:
1. Big heat transfer coefficient, good deaeration result. The water temperature at inlet and
outlet of swirl nozzle could reach to 90.
2. Superior adaptability for load: It could be operated stably ranged from 30% to 120% of rated
load, and the oxygen content of deaerated water can meet the requirement of Chinese
national standard.
3. Less steam ventilation: In general conditions, the vented steam is 50% of other deaerators,
even less than 50%.
