Ring Main Units switches can be freely assembled in a completely sealed tank filled with SF6 gas, which could be both manual and motor operation. FTU is operational. Up to 4 to 7 switches can be assembled.
With the increasing power consumption and the continuous reconstructing of city and countrys power network, the further needs for related equipments for power distribution networks will be increasing gradually. The products designed by SOJO can meet all requirements of mid-voltage distribution networks for varied customers to different ring main modes, combination modes, protection modes, operating conditions, safety protection, transportation and installation requirements.
By the combination of accumulated production experiences, imported advanced international technologies and the assistant of computing simulation, the new developed SF6 filled mid-voltage switchgear-XGW ring main units with standard modular units and flexible combinations are, by one hand, met with requirements of network nodes and terminal users; and by the other hand; the second substations requirements for compact switchgears and flexible operation can also be fulfilled.
SJXGN is the main modular structure of ring main switchgears. All live parts and switching mechanism are sealed into SF6 filled enclosure. This kind of switchgears is not affected by external environmental conditions, the reliability and safety standard can be guaranteed, therefore, the product is maintenance-free. One sealed container can be equipped with at most 6 sets of switching units. When there are more than 6 sets of units, the product can be extended by sealed and insulated extensible busbars. Modular design can fulfill various standardized and non-standardized connection schemes in power distribution network.
SJXGN provides 4 standard modules; customers are able to select combined modules freely based on actual situation. The product can either be comprised as ring main unit or as transformer feeder switch.
