Overview
This type of cable is used for branch cable of power supply of point machine. The diameter of conductor is 1.4mm. It is with PE insulation, steel tape armour, and PE outer-sheath. The rated voltage of cable is 600/1000V.
Structure:
1) Conductor
The conductor shall be solid circular and formed from plain annealed copperas per IEC 60228.
2) Insulation
The insulation shall be PE.
3) Bedding
The cable core shall be covered with extruded PE bedding which shall be formed tightly around the cable cores, which comply with requirement of IEC 60502.
4) Armour
The armour shall consist of two layers of steel tape applied helically.
5) Over-sheath
An over-sheath of single extrusion PE with termite-proof material shall be applied around the armour steel tapeas per IEC 60502.
