It can be used to promote adhesion of double sided adhesive to surfaces such EPDM, TPU, PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces, especially with Acrylic Foam(VHB) tapes, the bonding effect will be better. Tape primer 944 is an adhesion promoter for use in conjunction with automotive restyling vinyl, vehicle graphics and wraps. Help protect vinyl against lifting when used for vehicle graphics,stripes and wraps. Application: Primer 944 is use to improve vinyl adhesion where vinyl will be stretched or heated into concave area. For best results apply a thin layer of primer 944 over most of the concave area. For convex area apply a thin layer at outer edges of the curve to prevent the film edge, lifting. Great for use on complex vehicle contours. Work with all brands of vinyl. Application: Shake CNHYBOND 944 primer well before using: 1. Apply a thin uniform coating to the bonding surface using the minimum amount that will fully coat the surface, allow cnhybond 944 primer to dry thoroughly before applying tape. This is usually accomplished in 5 minutes at room temperature, Be sure the primed surface remains free from contaminants prior to applying the tape. Porous surfaces may require 2 application of CNHYBOND 944 primer for uniform coverage and good adhesion.. 2. Allow first application of primer to dry before applying the second coat, CNHYBOND primer 944 may be applied with brush or swab, It can also be applied with a pressurized flow gun, knurled roller or other similar type of application equipment (3).Drying Time Drying time generally depends on the temperature, humidity,thickness of coating. Normal drying time:1 minute-1 hour The best drying time:10-30minutes(temperature:23℃, moisture65%) Keep coating surface clean while operating (4).Stick double sided tapes Stick double sided tapes to the surface of coating, and press it strongly. Clean up: Cnhybond 944 primer can be removed with isopropyl alcohol,Vigorous scrubbing may be required Shelf life 1. 12 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original container at 15-27℃ 2.
