The white kidney bean extract is used for weight loss management. Blocks the absorption of starch you eat. It blocks the action of an enzyme called alpha amalyase. This is the enzyme that breaks down starchy foods into glucose molecules so they can be absorbed. The only scientifically verified benefit of white kidney bean seeds is the ability of white kidney beans to act as a "starch blocker" - a blocker of the alpha - amylase enzyme.
