Quality standard
Character: white acicular crystal or crystal powder, odorless and tastes bitter. The color would turn into light yellow if the product is kept in air for a long time because of hygroscopy.
Solubility: The product is very easily soluble in ethanol, chloroform, toluene and benzene; easily soluble in acetone; soluble in water while sparingly soluble in petroleum ether and hot water.
