Properties:
the herb is sweet and sour in flavour, cold in nature and acts on the liver and kidney channels. Indications:

To treat epistaxis, hemoptysis, hematuria, metrorrhagia and matrostaxis, and many other kinds of bleeding due to blood heat, the herb is often used in combination with Japanese thistle, field thistle, cogongrass rhizome, dried rehmannia root, capejasmine fruit and other herbs for clearing heat from blood to stop bleeding.
