Application: This is a brand-new plug-in branch joint for high-voltage cable, exclusively used in "Y"&bicomponent connection between branch line and main line. It applies to cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable with rated voltage of 64/110kV,76/132kV and cross section of 240-2500mm2
Feature: The product has been pre-processed into a whole at plant with its internal part made up of epoxide resin&electrical conductor. It features full-insulation&hermetic closure, corrosion-resistance, and excellent waterproofing quality. No need to fill with SF6 gas. In addition, it is with compact conformation, light in weight, and small in size. Just fit the well-processed cable and stress cone together, put them into the plug, insert the plug into epoxy socket, then fasten the related accessories. The installation is easily completed in the above way. When reconstructing power net or changing cable, it will run again after pulling the cable out and replacing some spare parts, hence easy to maintain and reducing the loss causing by long time of power-off. The outside is covered with fiber reinforced plastics, which protects the body mechanically, and prevent from water and corrosion. Branch joint can be applied in various conditions and runs more safely. Fully-dry type structure, with no need to add insulating casting stuff, so having to soap stress cone in insulating casting stuff while pre-processing will never happen. It further improves operating life of stress cone, prevent oil leak during running, and even save yourself the related work like maintenance&replacement of oil&gas.
