PA46 characteristics:
These include electrical connectors, pin headers, and more, thanks to the new material’s flow characteristics and resistance to warpage. Weld line strength is significantly higher than LCP, minimizing cracking during pin insertion.
As with all Stanyl PA46 offerings, Stanyl PA46 High Flow provides resistance to distortion at high heat to 290°C (554°F) - as well as superior mechanical properties, excellent wear and friction behaviour, and production cycle times shorter than conventional polyamide 6 and 66. PA46 offers reinforced, lubricated, low-wear/low-friction, and flame-retardant (FR) grades.
