Magnesium oxide is used in the manufacture of ceramics, enamel, refractory crucible and refractory brick. Used as a polishing agent, adhesive, paint and paper filler, chloroprene rubber accelerators and activators, and magnesium chloride solution, preparation of magnesia cement. Medicine used as an antacid and laxative, for hyperacidity, stomach and duodenal ulcer disease. Also used glass, dyes, such as bakelite. Food grade used for sand Tang refining depigmenting agents, ice cream powder pH regulation.
