Description of Wood Shaving Machine

   Wood shaving machine is called shaving machine for short, also called wood shavings grinder. It's a new type wood-working machine, mainly used for batch producing wafer shavings of even thickness, a kind of automatic wood shaving machine.

   It can process the logs such as sticks, branches, crotches, etc. The shavings produced by it are the same as the ones by the furniture factory. This machine adopts automatic feeding device, is much simpler than the traditional operation, meanwhile increasing the speed of producing shavings, saving manpower and time, meeting the customer's production requirements.      

Structures of Wood Shaving Machine

   It consists of frame, the platform on the frame, and the knife rest fixed on the platform, the power distribution box which provides power for the wood shaving machine, timber hold down gag, and timber reciprocating motion device.

   In the timber hold down gag, the cylinder presses the timber on the platform; in the timber reciprocating motion device, the hydraulic cylinder drives the sliding tablet loaded of wood to do reciprocating motion along the platform, and the wood shavings are planed out by the shaving cutter. Since the cylinder depress device and hydraulic reciprocating motion device are adopted, the contact pressure of the timber and the shaving cutter and the speed of reciprocating motion of the timber are even. As a result, the wafer shavings of the same thickness are processed.

Working Pinciple of Wood Shaving Machine

   The feed port adopts automatic feeding device, timbers enter into the machine by the feed port, then are cutted into sections by the blade inside the machine, and then enter into the screen, so shavings are knocked out, with even size. The thickness of the materials can be adjusted at will.
