Silver brazing filler metal is a silver based binder which can be classified into many types according to the kinds and the use of the alloy. Currently there are more than ten kinds of standard silver brazing filler metal, and we make and sell those standard silver brazing filler metal products of high purity processed under strict controls. Though cadmium is effective in lowering the melting point and helps in improving fluidity, its use requires anti pollution facilities and the use of safeguards. We have therefore developed silver brazing filler metal which does not contain cadmium to improve processing conditions and to eliminate pollution problems. It provides properties similar to cadmium based filler metal and price stability at the same time.
