As per our experience in making rotational mould for rotomolded exhibition or display cases, basically there are two major points to be considered in design.
One is to make sure the lid and base can fit well after being assembled, the other is to make correct dimension in length, width and depth which allow rotomolded exhibition cases can be stuffed into container as many as possible, and what's more, save delivery cost when to post it to end user.
Apart from those, mould quality linked to cosmetic appearance is very important as well, which requires beautiful textured surface, no visible porosities, well controlled contraction and neat assembly and packaging.
