Perilla seed oil, a kind of natural greases with many unsaturated fatty acids including 50%-70% of α-linolenic acid, the highest content among all the vegetable oil.
α-linolenic acid can decrease blood cholesterol and fat, prevent atherosclerosis and angiocardiopathy lastingly.
α-linolenic acid can be converted into EPA and DHA by the enzyme in body, which are the main compositions of deep-sea fish oil with action of decreasing the blood fat and improving the anamnesis, thus it also named as plant deep-sea fish oil. But it is better than deep-sea fish oil due to no cholesterol.
