In 2005,heat exchange unit department developed FL220 type compound radiator for HXD3 electric locomotive cooling system.The radiator passed service running assessment.At present,the product has been put into service on about 500 locomotives.Its performance and reliability could completely meet locomotive service requirements after four-year service.
