1. Function

  DX-300 Gauge Length Instrument for Steel Bar is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GB228-2002 for tensile testing of metallic materials. It is used for dotting on the tensile specimens. It’s a necessary instrument in impact test with high accuracy and efficiency as well as easy operation.

2. Working Principle   DX-300 Gauge Length Instrument for Steel Bar can rotate 360° through a shaft with spiral bands. It can raise and drop the punch vertically at different angles, then dot with the impact of elastic spring. It can dot a straight line on the specimen with roll the hand shank for one round. The length between two dots is 10 mm, a total of 30 dots = 300 mm long.

1. Put the test specimen into the specimen table;

2. Adjust the screw slot to fit the specimen length;

3. Unscrew the specimen table to move it back and forth to fit the specimen length and diameter;

4. Put the handle down and make the punch pin touch the specimen;

5. Roll the hand shank with right hand for one round (in clockwise direction).

5. Matters needing attention

1. Keep the two poles and the punch pins in good lubrication to ensure flexible operation;

2. DO NOT touch the punch pins to keep a perfect accuracy.
