*Drill a hole through the materials to be joined using exactly the same diameter drill bir as the diameter of the rivet to be used.
*Use washers when joining soft materials such as leather or when the holes are oversize.
*Place the rivet in the riveter,push protruing rivet through holes in materials to be joined.Then using firm pressure squeeze riveter handles together riveting.
