Overview

FRP electrolytic cell is widely used as anticorrosion equipments in smelting industry, and is suitable for wet method smelting of nonferrous metals, such as Pb, Zn,Cu, Mn, and so on. Owing to its well anticorrosion and permeability resistance ability, good integrality, strong shocks resistance ability, light weight, good inner surface hardness, good smoothness, and easy to clean, it is widely applied in national nonferrous  industry, and also the first choice of electrolysis equipment in wet method technology.

Our company has more than 20 years manufacturing experience since we developed the first FRP electrolyzing cells for Zhu Zhou Smelting Group in 1984. We have sold 2000 electrolyzing cells to smelting factories, including 60 copper electrolyzing cells which were exported to Congo.

Our company can design and manufacture electrolysis products which have reasonable structure, stable performance, and make customers satisfied according to different performance requirement, technology parameters and control index.

Features

Anticorrosion and permeability resistance ability: inner surface is adopted high-quality unsaturated polyester resin or vinyl resin, gel content ≥70%,and fiber material adopted surface carpet and chopped strand mat, to make sure anticorrosion ability and permeability resistance ability.

Good integrality: no stitching points, round rebar and vertical rebar outsourced FRP. The electrolyzing cells have the characteristics of large carrying capacity, good rigidity, strong impact resistance and no cracks.

Light weight: specific gravity of FRP is 1.8kilogram per cnetimeter; it is only one third of traditional concrete and steel liner FRP electrolytic cell.

Liner clean: adopted high light fiberglass mold, inner wall is dense and smooth. No pollution to anode slime, easy to clean.

Good insulation: FRP is good insulation material. No pass current, no leakage, power-efficient.

Service life: make sure service life more than 15 years, low operating costs, minimal maintenance.

Structure

The electrolyzing cells can be designed and manufactured as following three structures:

Wood: according to design specification, strengthening rebar and bottom rebar both adopted wood to strengthen.

Wood and steel: horizontal rebar and strengthening rebar all adopts square steel; all or part of vertical steel adopts wood to strengthen it; all or part of the span of  load-bearing support ≤2000millimeter,bottom rebar adopts wood to strengthen; the span of  load-bearing support≥2000millimeter, bottom rebar is adopted steel to strengthen.

Steel: according to design specification, all adopt steel to strengthen.

All strengthening rebar outsource 3-5millimeter anticorrosion material to strengthen

Structure

Our company has developed the electrolyzing cells which is double-sided light, no leakage, more stable performance by continuous technological innovation to overcome the common problem in traditional process ERP electrolyzing cells for 20 years. The product is suitable for export as it is exquisite, superior performance, advanced technique, and easy to transport.

Technology Characteristics

Adopting unique molding technology and formula to avoid the gel of resin flowing away; ensure the tank no distortion, no leakage, light and strong, and gel content of the tank uniform.

Adopting single –chip double-side mold, brush Corrosion-resistant color gel coat both inside and outside to separate oxygen to solidify, good corrosion resistance and weather ability, greatly extends service life.

Rebar wrapped FRP by cavity block to mold, good overall performance, FRP and steel or wood binding very well, no lamination and void, greatly enhanced cells deformation resistance ability.

Choice of Materials and Process

Owing to the strict requirement of anticorrosion and impermeability resistance, our company chooses proper technology design according to different medium condition and different work temperature. Our company strictly controls the choice of main raw material, the steel profiles we choose must be processed by special anticorrosion method, to ensure the service life of the cells, and lower maintenance costs.

Adopting vinyl resins produced by Taiwan Shanghai Shangwei Company as high quality of anticorrosion heat-resistance resin, and Changzhou Tianma Group’s glass fiber cloth and surface carpet.
