Function
1. Improve the stability of asphalt concrete in high temperature
That the 3D stereo distribution of TB-Fiber monofilament ,and its super adsorbability as well as no twist with the asphaltum, strengthens the cohesion and stickiness of the asphalt concretefurthermore, the reinforcement and bridging function of the crossbinding fiber monofilament, decrease the liquidity of the asphaltum and increase the stability of the asphalt concrete in high temperature.
2. Improve the anti-crack of the asphalt concrete in low temperature
Generally, in the condition of low temperature and the sudden fall of the temperature (e.g. the winter of the north), the asphalt roads will shrink or crack as a result of the stress relaxation.
Put TB-PET-Fiber into the asphalt concrete, because there are a lot of crossbinding fiber monofilaments in the concrete ,the elasticity of the asphalt concrete is improved ,which makes it can resist the deformation effectively,maintain high flexibility and anti-stretch strength, resist the shrinkage effectively, reduce the crack, consequently improve the anti-crack of the asphalt concrete in low temperature.
3. Improve the anti-fatigability of the asphalt concrete
The reinforcement of the TB-Fiber in the concrete increases the developing modulus of elasticity by 1.3-1.4 times and improves its fatigability
TB-Fiber can improve the water stability, anti-spalling, abrasion resistance and durability of the asphalt concrete and prevent the emergence of the reflection crack effectively, thereby enhance the quality of the roads and prolong their lifetime.
TB-Fiber can increase the intensity of the concrete to resist the stretch,compresscut and shock. Related experiment shows that: the intensity of anti-stretch and anti-compression are increased by 15-18% respectively.
