Align tile with the gauge on the padded bed.Loosen the gauge"s screw.Adjust gauge and position tile at the desired cutting line.
2.
Roll the cutting wheel along the tile,to score the glaze.
3.
With the wheel now resting in the bed ,lift up the handle,so the T-shape"breaker-bar" will lay on the tile ,press down the handle to break the tile along the score line,into pieces .The wheel scratches and cuts into the glazed finish reating a plane of weakness.
